Howard, I checked my file of Maryland bird records which we used for the yellow book and it seems you now have the second earliest Prothonotary Warbler record for the state. The earliest was 3/31/79 in Baltimore County followed by April 5 reports in 1970 in Baltimore County and 1975 in Worcester County. Previously the earliest Montgomery County report was 4/9/94 at Pennyfield. Bob Ringler
