Subject: DC Birding Hi-lites - 4/10

I did a little birding this morning (4/10) in the District, and saw
the following species of note:

Common Snipe - in a wet field along the Anacostia River (hard to find
in DC) Palm Warbler - 2 at Hains Point Peregrine Falcon - 1 soaring
high over Hains Point Caspian Tern - c.5 at Hains Point Blue-winged
Teal - 2 pairs in a flooded part of the Golf Course at Hains

A few other birds around (8 Bonies on the golf course, Common &
Red-breasted Mergs on the rivier, lots of Barn and Rough-winged
Swallows), but generally it was quiet.

Good birding.
