--UNS_gsauns2_2844763500 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Disposition: inline Saturday, A walk north along the towpath from Seneca produced Horned Grebe, Red-breasted Merganser, DC Cormorant, Bald Eagle, Great Horned Owl, Red-headed Woodpecker, Purple Martin, Rough-winged Swallow, Louisiana Waterthrush, Parula, Yellow-rumped, Yellow-throated and Pine Warblers. A brief visit to Sycamore Landing produced a Red-shouldered Hawk and an Osprey. Sunday, the same walk from Seneca added Bufflehead, Palm Warbler (plus the same Saturday warblers), Barred Owl, Turkey, and Bonaparte's Gull (Continuous stream flying up the Potomac). A Sunday evening walk along the towpath north from Pennyfield produced 4 or 5 Palm Warblers feeding on the ground at the edge of the water on the southwest side of the first pond, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Louisiana Waterthrush, 2 close & large Beavers, Towhee and Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
