Huntley Meadows -Am Bittern and King Rails

Great looks at American Bittern and King Rails at Huntley Meadows on
Saturday morning.  Also Sora, Wood Ducks, Green Heron, Coot, lots of
turtles including Snapping, Green Frogs, bull frogs, water snakes .   The
Bittern was in and out  of the reeds in the center of the board walk and
did stay out in open for a bit.  Several King Rails - in the center also
and off the boardwalk past the observation tower;  the second  one was very
close and wandered out in the open near a nesting Canada Goose.   
Of course I left my camera at home.
