  Dear locals,

     I will be going to Roosevelt Island this weekend and am not sure of
the best way to get there.  Getting to the GW Parkway from 495 is no
problem.  However, I understand that the only way to get to the parking
lot is from the northbound lanes of the parkway.  Can anyone tell me how
to get to the parking lot from the southbound lanes?  Any help will be
much appreciated.
