No Reston Grebe but plenty of Warblers

Searched for the Western Grebe in Reston but couldn't find it.

I birded at Sunrise Valley Wetlands (SV) in Reston and Battery Kemble
Park (BK) in DC and saw 20 species of warblers.

Golden-winged at BK
Tennessee at BK
Parula at BK and SV
Yellow at BK and SV
Chestnut-sided at BK (over fifteen of them)
Magnolia at BK
Cape May at BK
Black-throated Blue at BK and SV
Black-throated Green at BK
Blackburnian at BK
Yellow-throated at BK
Blackpoll at BK and SV (fallout of over thirty at SV)
Black-and-white at SV
Redstart at BK and SV
Northern Waterthrush at SV
Kentucky at BK
Mourning at BK
Yellowthroat at BK and SV
Canada at BK
Chat at SV

Other fun birds included Swainson's Thrush, Warbling Vireo, Scarlet
Tanager, Bobolink, both Orioles and a late departing Purple Finch.

On to Hugh's Hollow tomorrow.
