The Carroll County Bird Club visited Bombay Hook and Little Creek, Delaware on Sunday, July 26. The highlights were 6 Wilson's Phalaropes, breeding plumage Stilt Sandpipers and Avocets, and Black-necked Stilt with young. Dowitchers and peeps were in the thousands. Many of the Western Sandpipers still had traces of breeding plumage. A few Bobolinks were flying over early. We also saw an immature Yellow-crowned Night-heron thanks to Lou Nielsen. Bob Ringler
