Bombay Hook

The Carroll County Bird Club visited Bombay Hook and Little 
Creek, Delaware on Sunday, July 26.  The highlights were 6 Wilson's 
Phalaropes, breeding plumage Stilt Sandpipers and Avocets, and 
Black-necked Stilt with young.  Dowitchers and peeps were in the 
thousands.  Many of the Western Sandpipers still had traces of breeding 
plumage.  A few Bobolinks were flying over early.  We also saw an 
immature Yellow-crowned Night-heron thanks to Lou Nielsen.
