While on the way to Re-enactment meeting on Saturday morning at 9am, a breeding male Dickcissel seen fly low over wildflower meadow along Rt. 17N (Horsey Distillery Rd.), just 100 yard from Exit 2 (Rt. 340W), this bird was appear on right side of the road over bluish-purple wildflower. It was seen for about 3 minutes before landing in the meadow. It was my second lifelist in the past week (first one was a Least Bittern at Horsehead Wetlands Center in Grasonville, MD). I have seen more than 300 species across Mid-Atlantic and also Maine and Georgia. Kevin G. Graff Baltimore, MD ggraff@erols.com
