Northern Rock Creek Birds: Mid-a.m.

This a.m., from about 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., I birded a stretch of
northern Rock Creek Park in Rockville--from Old Baltimore Rd. to Avery Rd.
Highlights were:

Swainson's thrush       2
veery                   1
yellow-throated vireo   1
magnolia warbler        4
chestnut-sided warbler  3
American redstart       2
Canada warbler          2
black-and-white warbler 2
ovenbird                2
common yellowthroat     2
black-thr. green warbler 1
northern parula warbler 1
rose-breasted grosbeak  1

Also had a pair of Baltimore orioles passing through the backyard this a.m.,
and 28 nighthawks over at dusk (and one at 7:50 a.m.).
