The following is a report of the sightings at Snickers Gap from 30 Aug 98
through 6 Sep 98. I was olny present for 6 Sep 98, the remainder are taken
from the notebook left at the hawkwatch.

so ravens, 1 blackburnian, 1 blackpoll, 1 redstart, scores of cedar waxwings,
hairy, downy, red-bellied, flicker, pileated, 15-18 hummingbirds, barn and
tree swallows, 100+ chimney swifts, 1 double crested cormorant, lots of
goldfinches.

OS = osprey, BE = bald eagle, NH = northern harrier, SS = Sharp-shinned,
CH = Cooper's hawk, NG = northern goshawk, RS = red-shouldered,

kestrel
ML = merlin, PG = peregrine falcon
Notes: As you can see, there are days that were left uncounted. If anyone
has time on week days to count hawks at Snickers Gap, or is interested in more
