Ivory Gull      9/12/98
Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, VA
1 1st winter bird reported from Island #4.  It was seen feeding between
islands 3 & 4 with terns and Laughing Gulls.  Note - it shows a lot of
sooty color across the entire head down to the chest.
(Remember, a letter of permission is required for birding on islands
2, 3 & 4.)
