mystery sandpiper to go online this evening

Howdy all!

Well, my _mystery_ sandpiper sketches, notes, and a
hand-drawn composite are all scanned now and will be ready to go
online this evening. Sorry for the delay. The scanner at work
was on the fritz this week (a leftover 85MB temp file was
rendering it helpless). I'll add a link from my home page at:

     http://www.erols.com/gregorym

I'm a little disappointed with the composite as it came out
a bit more colorful and everything more yellow than the original
(notice the yellow color of the white paper). Edging on the
feathers on the lesser and median coverts should be cream, not
yellow. The reddish color on the shoulder should be more muted
and more of an apricot coloration. The legs look yellowish, but
should be medium gray with a tinge of green (see the original
notes and sketches).

Happy viewing...
