Here in Calvert County (Dunkirk), I had my first Long-tailed Skipper too!
It showed up yesterday on the white Butterfly Bush and was there again
today. I tried to get some photos of it, but it would always fly away if I
got too near. Now I will look closer for Fiery and Ocala Skippers. Since
migrants are not too plentiful here in Southern Maryland, I have been
paying more attention to  butterflies lately and with great rewards.
