Tom Stock asked if anyone had seen Long-tailed Skippers recently. On September 13, 1998, I saw a Long-tailed Skipper in my garden laying eggs on my bean plants. I haven't seen one since. I live in Silver Spring inside the Beltway. I also saw an Ocola Skipper nectaring on Globe Amaranth flowers on September 27, 1998. For recent reports of Long-tailed Skippers elsewhere on the East coast, check out the North American Butterfly Association web site at www.naba.org To send your butterfly reports to NABA for posting on the web site, the e-mail address is springer@naba.org Eric Raun raueri@juno.com On Wed, 30 Sep 1998 13:48:10 -0400 Thomas Stock <TSTOCK@FMSHRC.GOV> writes: >Like Harry Fisher, I also recently had a fun yard day.
