I have a row of bean plants in my garden.  When I saw the 
LT Skipper in my yard, I wondered whether the bean plants 
played had a part in attracting it. I found no eggs, though.

Me too (Indian Springs, to be exact).  Might the same skipper 
have visited our yards?!

Nice sighting!  After a very slow spring and early summer, 
I thought the butterflying really picked up in July.  It's been
very nice to have something other than birds to look for
given that my yard has never really been all that great 
for birds....
