The basic directions in your message came from the expert, Bev Hansen ... I
recognize her writing style.  I'm sure you have the latest and best info.

When I made this trek in May, 1997, I heard no budgies, but fortunately, on
my second or third pass on Calienta Street, I found a single bird sitting
quitely in the back side of a tree in a front yard.
