     Since MD Ospreyers are birding in NW Branch Park, you might be 
     interested to know that some of the large rock outcroppings near the 
     stream were used by Native Americans (Indians).  An outcropping that 
     is easy to find is next to the trail that enters the Park at the 
     juncture of NW Branch Park and Wheaton Regional Park. Follow the trail 
     along the stream. In about a 1/2 mile you come to a large outcropping 
     on the right side of the trail - the overhang is large enough for a
