     Hi Gang,

I went hawkwatching to Wagonners (? spelling) Gap on Saturday and
Sunday (A little over 2 hours from the DC Beltway and 270.). The
outlook is located on a mountain ridge about 7 miles northwest of
Carlisle PA. The NW winds brought a very good hawk flight - On
Saturday, "about" 5 Osprey, 9 Bald Eagle, 5 Harrier, 700+
     Sharp-shinned, 209 Cooper's, 3 Goshawk, 10 Red-shouldered, 1
     Broad-winged, 15 Red-tailed, 5 Kestrel, 5 Merlin and 6 Peregrine. On
Sunday, 1 Golden Eagle (3rd of the year) and lesser numbers of the
rest (no Goshawk, Broad-winged or Peregrine). Good birding, Dan Eberly
