I once dound a dead Woodcock, still warm, behind the FAA building at 7th =
and Independence.  There was a small hole, like one that a BB can make, =
in a large plate glass window immediately above the bird's resting =
place.  My inquiries among birders led to the supposition that Woodcock =
migrate across the city.
