I just returned from the farm and have some bad news. The area where the sparrow was last seen is now fenced off and full of cows. I scanned the multi floras but no sign of any sparrows in that upper area. It was absolutely beautiful and the area was full of bluebirds. Savannah, chippy, swamp, song and white throat were also around. A Red tail and a Coopers also appeared over the fields. So.....I guess the best I can advise is that we will go and look over the cow area and then a bit of sparrowing around the farm. If you are coming from a distance it might not be worth the trip?? I do quite alot of birding at the farm and will keep my eyes open for the Harris'. It is such a huge place that it could be anywhere there. Bonnie (will meet anyone that is interested at 3:00) "I once had a sparrow alight upon my shoulder for a moment while I was hoeing in a village garden, and I felt that I was more distinguished by that circumstance than I should have been by any epaulet I could have worn."
