Hi All: In case anyone can`t tell, Red-shoulders are my favourite hawk!! Very little breeze @ 9:00, picked up nicely to near moderate when I quit at 11:20, wind out of NW, mostly clear skies( 25 % cloud cover ). Red-shoulder- 22 Sharpie- 7 Harrier- 1 imm. Bale Eagle- 1 each of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. Coops- 6 Tails- 27 The bulk of these numbers occured in a 30 minute time span, between 9:45 and 10:15. What a glorious sight, it`s what we live for, isn`t it? Others Palm Warblers- 2 Bluebirds- A flock of 50+ stopped briefly on what I now call " the bluebird tree " in the meadow. It is a honey locust, they seem drawn to it. Large flocks of waxwings, at least 100+. Leslie Fisher Cecil Bird Club North East MD
