Norm,

Several folks have told me they can no longer get their computers to
read the Osprey web archive, apparently because it is so large. I can
still get it myself but it takes about 2 minutes to get it loaded. (I
have a 14.4 modem, Pentium 75 computer, 24 megs RAM - pretty primitive,
eh?)

Even those of us who are subscribers sometimes want to look back on the
archive for items we deleted from our regular e-mail. And there are
probably lots of people who would prefer just to read the archive rather
than subscribe.

Could you consider breaking the archive up into smaller chunks so people
can view it more efficiently, if at all? If it's not too much trouble,
there are probably growing numbers of us who would appreciate it.

Osprey IS a fantastic service to area birders, and we thank you heartily
for creating and maintaining it as it enters it's second year.
