Hi Ospreyers-- Paul Dumont called me last night to ask that I put this report up on MdOsprey: Paul led an ANS trip to Eastern Neck NWR yesterday and they located a pair of Cinnamon Teal. The directions as Paul gave them to my husband (who took the message) are: Take Rt 445 to ENNWR, go over to the refuge, pull off immediately at the base of the bridge on east side of road, and the birds were about 40 yards offshore. Very loosely associated with other dabbling ducks. The pair (a duck and a drake) were seen at 8:45 and 9:45 am, but could not be located later in the afternoon. However, they could very well still be in the vicinity. If you would like further details, please call Paul at 703-931-8994. Gail Mackiernan gail@umdd.umd.edu
