Lord, I Love being prescient. After yesterday's post about
Franklin's Gulls, Gene Scarpulla and I found an adult today at Conowingo
Dam. The bird was seen between 2:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. on the rock bars below
the main island, sitting with Ring-bills. A full report will come later.
I heard a second-hand report of a flcok fo about a dozen at Cape
May yesterday. This is the weekend to go looking.

"Everywhere I go I'm asked if the university stifles writers. My opinion is
that they don't stifle enough of them. There's many a bestseller that could
have been prevented by a good teacher." Flannery O'Connor
