I visited several sites in Frederick and Carroll counties with 
Debbie Terry on Sunday, Nov. 15.  Nothing extraordinary but a few 
interesting things.  L = Lilypons, B = farm pond south of Burkittsville, 
S = Study Road, Carroll Co., H = Hashawha, W = Westminster Reservoir.

Pied-billed Grebe - 1 at L
Great Blue Heron - 4 at L
Tundra Swan - 1 adult at L
Snow Goose - 1 immature white at W
Canada Goose - 30 at L, 1000 at B, 300 at S, 225 at W (+ 2 Graylags)
Gadwall - 1 male at H
Wigeon - 1 female at B, 1 female at S
Black Duck - 1 at B, 7 at W
Mallard - 55 at L, 8 at B, 11 at S, 25 at H, 12 at W
Pintail - 1 female at H
Green-winged Teal - 1 male at W
Ring-necked Duck - 8 at B
Greater Scaup - 1 female at S
Bufflehead - 1 at L, 3 at B, 5 at W
Goldeneye - 1 female at W
Hooded Merganser - 5 at W
Ruddy Duck - 17 at B, 2 at W
Coot - 3 at L, 26 at B
Killdeer - 10 at L, 50 on Buckeystown Pike, 17 at B, 6 at W
Ring-billed Gull - 1 at L, 55 at W
Herring Gull - 45 at W
Phoebe - 1 at L
Pipit - 60 on Sixes Bridge Rd, Carroll Co.
Tree Sparrow - 0
White-crowned Sparrow - numerous in expected places
