Ospreyers, I finally sprung for a computer, a Gateway 350 mhz Pentium II with all of the bells and whistles... I am contemplating purchasing some of the birding software for both record keeping and perhaps some of the skill sharpening products like Thayer's. I've browsed through some back issues of "Birding" and have looked at the ads for some of the products. I seem to recall an issue of "Birding" or "Winging it" a while ago that reviewed some of the material on the market (I didn't read too intently since I wasn't in the market for software when this came out.) Does anyone recall which issues might have such a review? Does anyone have a favorite product (or something to definitely steer away from), is there anything in particular I should consider when purchasing these items. Thanks! Tom Harten Bowie
