The entrance to the park is on rt. 7 . It`s a tad bit confusing if you don`t know the roads, but when heading towards Perryville from North East on Rt. 40, you encounter Rt. 7 twice. The first takes you back into North East, the next, in about 1/2 mile, takes you into Perryville. Look for Firetower Rd, and a fire station!! If you go into the town, you missed it. Turn left here, abandoned plant on left, road curves to right as it enters the park. I always find the first 1/4 of the loop road the most productive , as the waters are more sheltered. There is a nice dock onto the water with a good view just before the loop curves back towards the entrance, but I never see much from here.Have fun, Leslie Fisher North East , MD > > > Thanks, > Steve Sanford > tanager@bcpl.net > Randallstown MD
