Hi Gang:
Have been reading with interest the D & H exchange.  My two bits:
While researching native plant species, read that Dogwood berries are
the most preferred by birds and first eaten in the fall due to their
high fat content.  Also that holly berries are a less preferred food
source, often left `til there is little else available.
