Date: Mon, 30 Nov 1998 09:28:34 -0500 From: Bob and Nancy Schutsky <birdtrek@EPIX.NET> Reply-To: info@birdtreks.com To: PABIRDS@LIST.AUDUBON.ORG Dear Birders: Dan Heathcote just called from a phone booth at Codorus State Park in York County, PA near Hanover. This morning (11/30) he found a male Black-throated GRAY Warbler at the Park. From PA 216 that runs between Hanover and Glen Rock, turn east on Sinseim (sp?) Road toward the Park. Turn into the main boat launch area and park in the second of two parking lots that are designed for people to unload horses. The Black-throated Gray Warbler was in a small cicular patch of vegetation located 15 feet from the edge of the parking lot. There was a large flock of Juncos, a few Bluebirds, and a few other species in the same patch. To my knowledge this is the second PA record, the first being two years ago in/near Berks County. Good luck.
