Kurt, Although not all the results are in, it seems that the day was slow and there were no unusual species. Many usual species were not found and the total number of species was lower than normal. There were a few species flocked in higher than normal numbers. Most notable was a field with an estimated 300 Eastern Meadowlarks in my sector, Point-No-Point. I had an adult Northern Goshawk at my house for a few minutes on 12-19, but we had no accipiters (to be even briefly excited about) in my sector on the CBC which includes my home. So far no Cooper's Hawks were reported on the entire count. I can give more details when I get results from the compiler if you are still interested.
