Folks, I suspect Gail and Barry would be better at describing the birds at Pax Vistors Center, but indeed we did find 2 Icelands and 3 Glaucous Gulls. At one point when a Bald Eagle was disturbing the gulls, many took off leaving one particular Glaucous on the ice surrounded by a few imm. Herrings &tc. Talk about a naked eye bird! This gull stood out like an ivory beacon easily visible to all. Great sight! Also, 2 Lesser Black-backs were spotted hanging around the "ol' watering hole" making for a nice 6 gull day at one warm location! I am waiting for the Ross' now. Kurt Gaskill, kurtcapt87@aol.com
