Hi all -- We went over to Patuxent "Gull Central" today and lots of birders were present. We got there about 11 am or so and had just missed a Glaucous Gull. However, eventually an Iceland came in (a quite large, biscuity one) and two adult Lesser BBs. After some time, these left and the "next shift" arrived which included two other first winter Icelands, one very white and the other darker but small. Earlier a Bonaparte's Gull also made a brief appearance. We left at about 1:30 so not sure what else popped in. There were also a few Rusty Blackbirds on the ice. No sign of the eagle today.
