I went to Sandy Point State Park this afternoon and saw a flock of 40+ Snow Buntings around 1:30. They were on the main beach such that when seen from the parking lot on the extreme left the Bay bridge was in the background. They were picking through the sparse grass between a long, narrow puddle and the open sandy beach. The temperature had dropped radically about an hour before I saw them and the wind seemed to be from the north-northwest. I have been looking for them since I last saw them Christmas Eve.
