I took a break on Sat. the 16th to do some birding at O.C. Well, the Common Mergansers numbers are down last week after seeing a good number during the Worcester Co. CBC. O.C. Gannet (offshore) 84 Bonaparte's Gull 306 Ring-billed Gull 290 Herring Gull 103 Great Black-backed Gull 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull (1st winter resting on south jetty) 1 Black-headed Gull (1st winter in ocean with a flock of Bonaparte) 4 Forster's Tern 1 Am.
