Just in case anyone needs this for a year bird, you may want to consider carpooling over to Lake Elkhorn in Columbia where an adult male Redhead was associating with a male Ring-necked Duck in the small pond below the spillway of the dam. Even in the intense fog, you could still get great looks at this bird by walking the path to the small wooden bridge where the small creek exits the pond. Park in the small parking lot off Broken Land Parkway. With any luck the bird will still be there today. Off to do the Montgomery County Count .....
