No need to go so far for a redhead. There were approx 35 (!!!) at Lake Artemesia on Saturday, along with 22 ring-necks, 1 canvasback, 1 gadwall, 26 ruddy ducks, a red-br merg, a pair of hooded mergs, 12 coots, 38 mallards, 11 pied-billed grebes, 1 horned grebe, and several hundred canada geese. More ducks and geese than I've ever seen on the lake before.
