To: Richmond Audubon Listserv, MDOspreyers, and Valley Birders
and the VA Society of Ornithology

Here are some additional details on how to voice your comments to
the Va Marine Resources Commission...

I'm including a one-page sheet (below) that gives all contact information

for anyone wishing to contact VA Marine Resources Commission about
horseshoe crabs or other fishery management issues (e.g. oysters).
This would be good to include in any action alert, and provides phone,
email, fax, and mail information, and street directions. Emails and
faxes
received by the end of the day Monday would be especially
valuable. Warm bodies in Newport News on Tuesday from noon to five
are needed too to counter the busloads of watermen expected. Attendees
would not be required to speak, but should be there in case a show of
hands for and against is called for. Virginia Audubon Council will be
reading its letter in person, courtesy of Cape Henry's Mrs.Tate.

Sorry we just found out about all this!!! We need help!!!!
