Hey Gang:
I`m in Guelph, Ontario temporarily helping out my Mom.  Needless to say I`m
getting my Osprey news here.  Haven`t done much birding , just some hikes
to get me and the dog some exercise.  Really not much to see.  I did have
fun this afternoon closely studying Black-capped chickadees, honing in on
the vocal/appearance differences between them and their southern relatives.
 I talked to a local ABA member who says there have been no winter
finch/grosbeak sightings in the area yet this winter.  Guess I`ll have to
go out and find them!!  This isn`t really a birding vacation, but I`ll try
to range a little further afield as time permits.
