The St. Mary's County ?Kelp Gull? was again present today, Tuesday, February 16, 1999, as early as 7:30 a.m. in its usual place on the pilings behind the Sea Breeze Restaurant, according to Virginia birder Bob Mack (?), Dr. and Mrs. Harvey Mudd, and Georg
e Jett. It was still there when I popped in at 10 a.m.
