    The St. Mary's County, Maryland, Kelp Gull was at the Sea Breeze
Restaurant Saturday, March 6, from 6:15 a.m. until 6 p.m., when Tyler Bell
and others saw it fly across the river to Calvert County and continued
upriver along the shoreline.
    Another hundred birders came today to admire the bird, which put on its
best show ever. We're now up around 900 who have come to see the bird. Cream
of crab soup was served today, but the stock is dwindling...
