Jane & Tyler,

I echo Rick's thanks for your help on March 6. It was great to finally meet
you and share the bird with you. What a spectacular, and accommodating,
creature! In addition, an osprey flew by, heralding spring.

We (Gemma Radko and myself) headed down to Point Lookout afterward and saw
the same things Rick saw--including Rick and Mike and Ralph themselves! One
additional find was a palm warbler (apparently a pale palmarum) among the
throngs of yellow-rumps and bluebirds at the picnic area just before the
lighthouse. Also, two pectoral sandpipers and about 18 snipe were in a wet
field at the intersection of Rte. 5 and the white-fronted goose road
(forgot the name) near the park entrance. (A professor and his class tipped
us off on the pectorals.) We had no luck finding the goose, by the way.
