Hello,
We observed several Red-headed Woodpeckers along with Red-bellied and
Yellow-breasted Sapsuckers 1.6 miles south of the Rt 224 and RT.344
intersection on Rt. 224 on Sunday afternoon.
Also further south about 6.5 mi, we could see where beaver cut trees
200 feet up on banks for the limbs and bark for their lodges below.
We also watched a Veery do it's dance in the process of finding worms.
It is very effectivs technique. Saw huge flock of beautiful Robins
migrating north (>500). Also at site #2 were >300 paired Red-winged
Blackbirds waiting for spring. Larry Line Ho. Co.
