Ospreyers-- Tyler and I went back around 4:20 to enjoy the bird again. It was acting really twitchy, though it posed nicely on the light pole by the Dumpster, cocking its head at us as we talked to it. It went to the far pier with most of the other gulls, then they all took flight, circled several times, and then all left, headed upriver, at 5 p.m. It was interesting to see it flying with the flock of gulls, but disappointing that it left so early in the afternoon. I'll be checking around 8 a.m. Sunday and will post whether it is back or not. Jane Kostenko jkostenko@somd.lib.md.us California, Maryland Yesterday is history; tomorrow is a mystery.
