Some goods signs of spring migration at Great Falls Park this morning.
Fairly large flocks of Yellow-rumped Warblers included a good number of Palm
Warblers--also had single sightings of Louisiana Waterthrush, Parula Warbler,
and Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Small flocks of Tree and Rough-winged Swallows and
Chimney Swifts were over the Potomac.

A noon time walk through the meadow at River Bend was uneventful, but a walk
along the river at River Bend was breathtaking with the Va. Bluebells, Spring
Beauty, Toothworts, Star Chickweed, etc., in splendid display.
