Highlights of some Talbot County sightings:
At 6:45 p.m. today, April 10th, the metallic clink sound from near the top
of a walnut tree beside my driveway drew my attention to the arrival of a
Blue Grosbeak - the first of this season for me, and nearly a full month
earlier than the 1998 and 1997 first arrivals here (May 6th for both
years).

A Chipping Sparrow is at my feeder as this is being written,(7:15 on Apr
10th); but though unreported previously, my first had come on March 24th.

One Blue-grey Gnatcatcher was in my yard this morning.

Yesterday,4/09, near Bozman, MD, the following were sighted:

		Purple Martin	(1)
		Barn Swallow	(1)
		Brown Thrasher	(2)
		Common Loon	(10)
		Northern Harrier (1)
