	Thirty brave birders ventured out in light rain from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for
the Sunday morning, 11 Apr, birdwalk held on the grounds of the Jean duPont
Shehan Audubon Sanctuary at Neavitt, MD.  Species seen or heard, despite
the uncooperative weather were:

	Common Loon - many, in flight overhead, a few in the water
	Gt Blue Heron
	Black Vulture
	Turkey Vulture
	Mute Swan
	Canada Goose - 1
	Lesser Scaup
	Osprey
	Red-tailed Hawk
	Wild Turkey - 3
	Northern Bowhite - 4
	Killdeer - 1
	Common Snipe - 1
	Great Black-backed Gull - 3
	Mourning Dove
	Great Horned Owl - 1
	Red-bellied Woodpecker
	Northern Flicker
	Blue Jay
	Amer Crow
	Fish Crow
	Barn Swallow 
	Carolina Chickadee
	Tufted Titmouse
	Brown-headed Nuthatch
	Carolina Wren
	Eastern Bluebird
	Mockingbird
	Starling
	Cedar Waxwings (a flock of about 500)
	Yellow-rumped Warbler - several
	Pine Warbler - several
	Palm Warbler - 1 (race not identified)
	Chipping Sparrow
	Field Sparrow
	Savannah Sparrow 
	Song Sparrow
	White-throated Sparrow
	Junco
	Cardinal
	Red-winged Blackbird
	Meadowlark - many
	Common Grackle
	Brown-headed Cowbird
	House Finch
	American Goldfinch

	On April 9th, at the same site during a pre-walk site inspection by the
trip leader, the following additional species were located:

	Northern Harrier - 1
	Sharp-shinned Hawk - 1
	Laughing Gull - 5
	Ring-billed Gull - 5
	Herring Gull - 3
	Forster's Tern - 2
	Purple Martin - 1
	G-C Kinglet - 2
	R-C Kinglet - 1
	Brown Thrasher - 2
	Eastern Towhee - 1
