Hi All:
Thanks to all who sent information on coding bird names.  I routinely
use the codes when recording field trip data, however, am still becoming
comfortable with translating from code back to species name, as
mentioned in a previous post.    I was still stuck on Slate Colored
Junco as listed in a 1980 Peterson field guide, and yes, I do have a
much more recent Geographic guide.  Forevermore, it will be DEJU, at
least until the names get messed with again.
