Hi all,

Another big hawk count today in my backyard, between 2:35pm & 6:04pm:

 1 Turkey Vulture
 3 N. Harrier
 4 Sharp-shinned Hawk
 8 Cooper's Hawk
 1 Red-shouldered Hawk
53 Broad-winged Hawk (kettle of 2, 3, 10, 6, 2, 2, 2, 5, 2, 7, 3, 2)
 6 Red-tailed Hawk
11 Am. Kestrel
 7 Osprey
 1 Merlin
 1 Unidentified Accipiter
96

Total for season (Feb 1 - Apr. 22)

 40 Turkey Vulture
  3 N. Harrier
 23 Sharp-shinned Hawk
 15 Cooper's Hawk
  4 Red-shouldered Hawk
 81 Broad-winged Hawk
 15 Red-tailed Hawk
 18 Osprey
 16 Am. Kestrel
  2 Merlin
  1 Unidentified Accipiter
218

That bring a total of 218 hawks I seen since Feb 1st, but the estimate
when I'm not home is 500-600 since Feb 1st. Today estimate for hawks is
likely 200 since morning.

Other migrants today: hundreds of Chimney Swifts, dozens of Am. Robin,
several Ruby-crowned Kinglet, plus hundreds of unidentified songbirds
passing by.

Other seen in yard: 1-2 E. Phoebe, 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
