Hi All:
White-crowned Sp. for the past 2 days at the feeder, White-throated
continue to linger.
My husband, myself and the dogs birded Turkey Point this am. Although
not getting the high # warbler species being reported elsewhere, we did
have some nice birds as follows:
**= first of year.
A song I initially wrote off as Red-eye Vireo did not sound quite
right, too slow, not repetitive enough ; I tracked the culprit down, and
voila......
**PHILADELPHIA VIREO.
Similarly, Ruby-crown Kinglet song gave me some pause to think. A **
Pileated Woodpecker called, then treated us to a fly-by to a snag and a
momentary pose before retreating.
Northern Parula- 17
American Redstart- 12
White-eyeVireo- 2
** Nothern Oriole- 2
Eastern Phoebe- 2
Palm Warbler- 3 ( yellow race )
Also- Zebra Swallowtail.
