Hello out there

I've been a part time birder for several years but it never occured to me
to actually join a group. Recently, I got on line at work and after surfing
Audubon, Peterson and NWF for a while, I thought that maybe it was time for
me to net some humans rather than just birds and other critters.

While I'm an apartment dweller in Beltsville (P.G. County), this has been a
pretty good month as far as sightings go. I've added a Pileated Woodpecker
and Merlin Hawk to my list. Also saw a few Myrtle Warblers, Flickers, Red
Finches, both Black Capped and Carolina Chickadees and a boatload of
Titmice, which I never tire of watching.

Anyway, here I am. As I said I'm not an expert by any means but I do enjoy
a good bird tale now and again and have a few of my own.

Waiting... Lynn
